Dan credits writer Martin McDonagh as the reason he wanted to revive the role of Billy, saying:
“He’s one of the smartest, funniest, writers around. The way he mixes comedy and viagra prescription medication darkness, particularly in this play I feel, is amazing. When asked what he finds so attractive about New York, Dan comments:
“I’ve done a lot of purchasing cialis with next day delivery theater here, and I’m known not just for the Harry Potter stuff but that, too. I enjoy that aspect of it. Occasionally people will ask for a picture but it’s an easy town to be well known in.”
And choosing between New York or London?:
“It’s very difficult, because one will always be my home and where I grew up. But, I do love being able to spend as much time as I do in NYC. Hopefully I’ll never actually have to make the choice!”

On Tuesday 8th July, Dan and co-star Zoe Kazan will be in attendance for a NY Film Critics Series advance screening of their film What If, hosted by Rolling Stone film critic Peter Travers.

What If is set for an 8th August release in the US, and will open in the UK and Canada (as The F Word) on 20th August.
Though there hasn’t been any official announcement, it seems that Dan will be making an appearance in Judd Atapow’s film Trainwreck, which is currently filming in New York. Dan was photographed on the set of the film in Bryant Park this morning, wearing a dog walker’s belt and surrounded by a dozen dogs, and you can see photos in our gallery.
Trainwreck’s plot has been kept tightly under wraps, so very little is known about the film, but it stars Amy Schumer, Tilda Swinton and Ezra Miller, and is scheduled for a July 2015 release. You can find more information about the film at its IMDb page.
