The Woman in Black
Arthur Kipps, a grieving widower whose wife died during childbirth, leaving him alone to raise their son, is struggling to hold on to his job as a lawyer. Exhausted and emotionally drained, he feels he has no choice but to accept his latest assignment – sell the imposing and desolate Eel Marsh House.
Upon arriving in the nearby village, Arthur soon discovers that Eel Marsh House harbours a dark and tragic past – and that it is haunted by a spectral woman in black, who the villagers believe responsible for the spate of tragic child deaths.
Initially sceptical, Arthur soon finds himself caught up in solving the mystery – but will he survive his encounter with the Woman in Black?
The Woman in Black was the UK’s highest-grossing horror film in 20 years, and, much to Dan’s delight, was 2012′s most complained about film (UK).
