On January 27th, Daniel Radcliffe was present at the South Bank Show Awards.

Dan was the presenter for the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award to which Billie Piper was the recipient.

Later that evening, Daniel was asked what movies he thought should win at the Oscars and he shared his insight with the reporter.

A look into his academic life was also revealed.

Principle photography commenced on February 6th for the fifth installment of the theatrical Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Starting February 28th, you can enter a contest on HarryPotter.com to win a VIP trip to the movie set of OOTP in England.

The DVD for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be released in the United States on March 7 and will be available in the U.K. on March 14th.

Thousands of fans from all over the world contributed to a Valentine's Day project for Daniel. ACED Magazine features various fan projects, interviews with some of Dan's favorite bands and celebrities, and this special edition also hosted a special Valentine's Day mini podcast with messages from fans and one from Steve Kemp, the drummer of one of Dan's favorite bands, Hard-Fi.

 Daniel Radcliffe was nominated on MTV's 4th Annual TRL Award's in their FAKE ID (Best Guest Under 21) category. This will be the first year Daniel did not win, losing this round to Chris Brown.

Rounding out our news for this month, Daniel Radcliffe's mother attended a charity auction on Dan's behalf and bought Jo Rowling's hand-drawn Black Family Tree for £30,000.
