The Cripple of Inishmaan promo round up
Rehearsals for The Cripple of Inishmaan’s Broadway run started this week, and Dan has been out and about being his usual charming self to promote the show.
Following his Times Talk and appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael, Dan appeared on The Couch, where he played a game of Fill in the Blank:
Your favorite thing about living in New York is…
DR: Breakfast anytime of the day.
Your favorite horror movie is…
DR: Straw Dogs.
Your current TV obsession is…
DR: I’ve just obviously started watching Cosmos like everyone else, there’s an English quiz show called Pointless which nobody over here will know and will mean nothing to anybody, but that.
The character you liked the most in Harry Potter (besides yours) is…
DR: Sirius Black.
The most embarrassing song on your playlist is…
DR: Joe Dolce, he’s an English novelty singer who did a song called “Shaddap Your Face,” and that for some reason, I own that.
On Thursday, Dan chatted with Jimmy Fallon and was invited to play a game of Sticky Balls. Awesomeness ensued.
Friday saw Dan appearing on The Today show.
Dan also spoke to Anglophenia about the play, and how he feels that his name alone isn’t enough to get people to buy tickets:
The Cripple of Inishmaan begins previews on 12th April, and opens 20th April for a 3 month run. For more information and to buy tickets, visit crippleofinishmaan.com/
