“It’s shocking by the sheer fact that it’s me – otherwise it’s entirely unshocking” – Dan talks about the reaction to his sex scenes in Kill Your Darlings

634_DanielRadcliffe_mh__011813-1Dan is certainly no stranger to lasix online roles that stir up unwarranted controversy in the discount cialis online press: December Boys, Equus and the recent A Young Doctor’s Notebook have all made headlines because of their content. Not because the content is particularly shocking – but because the actor involved is the face of one of the most successful film franchises in history.

Kill Your Darlings premiered at the Sundance film festival last Friday to rave reviews of Dan and the film, but unfortunately, that seems to have been lost in the reaction to sex scenes involving Dan’s character, Allen Ginsberg.

Dan has spoken to Esquire about the reaction to the scenes, and how he feels it’s not the scenes that are shocking. “It’s shocking by the sheer fact that it’s me. Otherwise, it’s entirely unshocking that I’m playing Allen Ginsberg in a film about self and sexual discovery, and there’s a sex scene.”

Dan appears somewhat amused by it all, and says that friends have been texting him amusing quotes from reviews.

There’s also a lovely interview with Vulture, in which Dan discusses his friendship with Dane and how the two of them want to win the Golden Popcorn for the MTV Best Kiss, and how John Krokidas gave him what was probably his favourite direction of his career. You can read that here.

Yes Emma thanks, have really enjoyed the videos and articles.

On a side line even the rubbish proves an interesting study on cialis professional sale how some areas of the media operate. How speculation on his private life from one unnamed source evolves from a touch of the knee to full blown engagement in 2 days. I do think the viagra price germany shock stuff is all set up too. It makes me question even more how the “real” news is presented. Well that’s my thought of the day :D

I love these 2 articles and am still laughing about the direction comments – brilliant!

This makes a nice change from the manufactured “shock” stories. They are so predictable it’s boring – I mean sex sells, Harry Potter sells – put the two together and what do you get – lots of where can i buy viagra hits and watershedallianceofsandysprings.org lots of copy paste “reporting”. It’s difficult to cialis generic purchase differentiate what is buy pfizer viagra online available via online or print media, but at least the more mainstream media reviews and articles are all pretty good.

Thanks for all your great work folks.

They’re great articles, aren’t they? They don’t ignore the sex scenes, but equally, they’re very matter of fact about it.

What a wonderful few days it’s been – hard to keep up with all the news, but I hope you’ve been enjoying everything.

I’m out of words, all things these days are a feast of spirit, as we say. (maybe, you too). The greatest mix of honesty, intelligence, bravery, fun, seriousness and poetry, I’ve ever read. Superb!
As for childish twits with dating, knees and kisses… really, I don’t care. This is just Dan’s business. He is, thankfully, not a monk.:D In all honesty, I just wish him to have a great time. He’s a winner now, so, let him celebrate:)
