Introducing the DanRadcliffe.com bookclub

Take a look at Dan’s filmography, and you’ll realise just how many of his films originally started out as books – David Copperfield, The Tailor of Panama, The December Boys, The Woman in Black, Kill Your Darlings, A Young Doctor’s Notebook, Horns, and a little known series called Harry Potter.

So it seems somewhat fitting that Dan is a book lover with eclectic tastes, ranging from the classics to the contemporary. Individually, I┬áthink┬ámany of us have read books that have held significance in Dan’s life – I know I certainly have – but there’s nowhere for us to come together and talk about what we’ve read, and perhaps get insight into the narrative that might otherwise have passed us by.

Enter the DanRadcliffe.com bookclub, which will focus solely on books read by Dan, or books that were the inspiration for films he has appeared in. I’ve been playing around on a couple of different book club sites over the past couple of months, trying to find one that was the most user-friendly, and finally settled on my-bookclub.com to be the home of our club. I hope you’ll join our club8, take a look at our bookshelves, and leave us a comment in the welcome thread about what book we should read first.

See you there!

*to join DRC’s book club, you’ll first have to create your own my-bookclub account, then apply to join DRC bookclub. The option to join won’t become active until you have registered an account, and are logged in.
