Two Preview Clips of Katie Couric’s Interview with Dan

Two clips have been released as a preview of Katie Couric’s full interview with Dan, set to air this Sunday on the CBS Sunday Morning show.

They are: Dan’s passion for gay rights and Dan talking about the end of Potter.

And from the New York Daily News (Thanks, GRA’s Carole!):

A little over two weeks from today, we know what Daniel Radcliffe won’t be doing — reading his reviews of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” which opens on Sunday, March 27.

In an interview with Katie Couric airing this weekend on CBS Sunday Morning, the actor tells her that he doesn’t read notices, not even the good ones, and if he had his choice, he’d skip fancy premier parties and watch the telly.

“If you’re going to read the good ones, you have to read the bad ones,” he tells the Eye Network Anchor about reviews. “And I certainly don’t want to read the bad ones…I once went online and read, like, some things people were saying about me. And that was just the biggest mistake … like opening a door into a room of people telling you how terrible you are. I did that once, and I’ve not made that mistake again.”

The “Harry Potter” wiz also admitted that his idea of a good time isn’t going to a fancy bashes. After his last “Potter” film, he went home right after the screening. “I was at home by 10:30, with a bowl of Sugar Puffs, watching The History Channel. And I’ve never been happier.”

The Radcliffe of revival of “How to Succeed” (by Frank Loesser (music and lyrics) and Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert (book) comes 50 years after the original bowed on Broadway.
