Lots of Daniel Radcliffe Lots on Broadway Cares Auctions!

by drcomSep 19, 2010

Not long to go, now, until we hand Dan over to New York, for How to Succeed in Business, Without Really Trying… which we will call How to Succeed, or H2S, because the RSI of typing the full name for a year doesn’t bear thinking about…

…so, to get you in the mood for another all conquering stint on Broadway, complete with full immersion in the Broadway community, complete with their huge charity drives, we have news of four items of great interest in BroadwayCares.com‘s Grand Auction 2010 – pre-bidding for which is already open.

Most excitingly, they are offering two tickets for the Opening night of H2S (March 27th), together with passes for the Opening night party. Gird your loins and search between the sofa cushions and enter bidding, here.

If your loins will not stretch that far, or you have a cushionless sofa, you can still bid on a signed Equus poster,¬† an Equus blanket and signed Playbill, or a poster signed by the 27 “A Time to Give” celebrities who supported Audemars Piguet’s special pre-Tony Awards auction.

Good luck bidding – don’t forget that a DR.com reader won the auction for the lovely Bearquus.

On a totally separate note, Daniel Radcliffe really does pop up everywhere…the good people of Charleston annually participate in a Beach Sweep, to remove the thousands of items of flotsam and jetsam washed up on their beautiful coastline.

An article on this year’s clean up in the Post and Courier describes the huge variety of items uncovered, and mentions¬† last year’s best find: a bottled love letter from a young girl who was ‘enamoured by Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’.

Many thanks to radcakesfan for both links.
