Dan and Tony… Sounds Good to Us!

I just found something I really like in this MyJerseyCentral.com review of Equus:

Radcliffe’s performance is certainly worthy of a Tony nomination. From the first moment he walks on stage, the audience sees the intense stare and heavy breathing that stays with the character throughout the evening. This is, obviously, a disturbed young man, but he is also scared. If Radcliffe were too take this too far, play it too over the top, it would fail miserably, even turn comic. That restraint is a credit to Radcliffe and to director Thea Sharrock.”

Hear, hear!
