The DanRadcliffe.com 16th Birthday Projects

This year we did three things for Dan's birthday - the Demelza House Fundraiser, the birthday edition of ACED Magazine, and a DVD Production, "You Say It's Your Birthday." Below you will find a brief description of the projects, as well as Dan's response.

ACED Magazine and Demelza House

This year we had a lot of great fan project participants for ACED Magazine. We did various band interviews, got a mini interview snippet from Morgan Freeman for one of the articles, there was a short story, poetry, fan art, a Greatest Fans Hall of Fame feature, a Demelza House fan feature, and much more; including a special Demelza House Fundraiser we did that raised over £705! Thank you to everyone who participated! I'd like to say to an extra thank you to everyone that donated for Demelza House - thank you so very much - all of your donations are very much appreciated.

You Say It's Your Birthday Fanumentary

The DVD Fanumentary Production, "You Say It's Your Birthday," includes a scripted flick, behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, production cast interviews, a special "celebrity" appearance, music videos, special outtakes, and a musical Demelza House feature that is really out of this world! All of the DVD cover art (front and back) was hand drawn by Alexandra who did a really fabulous job!

Dan's Response to All of This:

Dear Jenna,

First of all thank you for ACED MAGAZINE which you sent as part one of my birthday present. It really is a fantastic magazine - the art, the poetry and the reviews are just brilliant!

But what can I say about part two - it is hilarious!!!!!! I don't know how you do it! It seemed to me that everyone had a great time making it and that made me smile a lot. Thank you to everyone who took part in it. I can't believe so many people from around the world wanted to join in celebrating my birthday.

I was particularly moved by the Demelza House section . As you know, it is a place I feel passionate about and it was very emotional seeing the kids. They are remarkable people.

Thank you Jenna for putting this gargantuan and insane project together. I will keep it forever because the spirit of the project was so warm and generous. Thank you to everyone (all 514 of you), wherever you are in the world, for wanting to participate in this unique gift. I will treasure it forever.
